  1. People have different perspectives on the issue. Some think that Starbucks is a symbol of capitalism and should not be inside the campus of our university.
  2. This idea might be a very common one among many people, but from one view Starbucks is an organisation with the aim of profit. If people see all the capitalist companies including Burger King as an opponent and protest their world view of pure profit making, then the protestors have a right to be considered. Then, nobody goes and buys anything from these companies inside and outside the campus and promote people to join them. This might be a reasonable solution because there disappears the profit!
  3. However, if it is considered capitalism only in Boğaziçi University the idea goes into a vicious cycle of pure protest of nothing. In another words, if people resist capitalism so much, they should try not to eat in any cafe that may serve this idea and the conclusion is to protest Starbucks, but not the ideology.
  4. Actually I see no logical reason for protests against Starbucks. people are getting more and more suspicious and prejudiced against that kind of things. life is short; therefore, we should not fill our lives with those protests.
  5. Starbucks do not force all the people to buy food from them. those who want to go there go!!!, and eat whatever they want!!!.. If they do not want, they do not have to go there. Then Do not go!!! learn about the starbucks. you can also visit this page about starbucks
